As you will be aware, on Monday 4th January 2021, the Prime Minister announced a national lockdown to help limit the spread of coronavirus across the UK.

There will again be some impact across our dealerships, but we will be doing everything we can to continue to support and protect our customers and employees. 

Service Departments

Our service departments will remain open, with every measure taken to protect you.

Our MOT facilities will remain open, so no need to worry.

Sales Departments

Sales will no longer be operating from the showroom. However, our sales team are ready and waiting to discuss your next car with you, by telephone, email, and video call.

In what we believe to be a sensible approach, the Government is, however, allowing non-essential retail to operate ‘click and collect’ or home delivery services, for any vehicle purchased online. 

At JT Hughes we have offered these services since re-opening and our current expectation, therefore, is that we will be able to continue to handover cars to customers throughout January, in a COVID-Secure way.

Now could be a good time to buy, because throughout January anyone who reserves a car online will receive a £250 discount on the advertised price of the vehicle (terms & conditions apply).

We will take new enquiries via our Sales Management Teams and through the 'reserve online' feature on our website. This service allows our customers to reserve a used car for £99, and once an order has been placed, one of our team will then be in touch to answer any questions and organise handover.

Stay safe

It is clear that our county faces another challenging period and that we must all work together to beat the virus. As a business we have learned a great deal since the last lockdown and are confident that we can continue to support our customers and keep everyone as safe as possible. Whilst it definitely isn’t ‘business as usual’ you can rely on us to be there for you.
