A driveway introduction to your car

When our driver arrives, they will give you plenty of time and space to inspect your new vehicle and will not leave until you are completely satisfied. All our drivers wear masks.

All your questions answered - with a smile

Our driver will gladly answer any questions you might have. Whether it's how to operate the keyless entry system or how to open the sunroof. They'll demonstrate how everything works.

Your car is never delivered with the fuel light on

Your vehicle is always delivered with some fuel in the tank and the fuel light will never be on. You can order £40.00 of fuel during your checkout if you prefer.

Meanwhile, if a part exchange is required, our driver must verify that it matches the description you provided. If everything goes smoothly, our driver will complete the transaction by handing you a 'handover pack' as well as the keys to your new vehicle!

The handover should take about 30 minutes

We generally expect your pick-up or delivery appointment to take about 30 minutes. This accounts for everything from sanitation to vehicle review to paperwork. If you have a trade-in appointment, expect around 30-45 minutes.

Pre-Order Offer Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the pre-order offer incentive ("Offer") provided by J T Hughes Group ("JTH") for new car orders placed in the United Kingdom ("UK").

  1. JTH reserves the right to change, amend, or withdraw the Offer at any time without prior notice, which may apply to one or all makes and models available for purchase.
  2. The Offer is only available for new car orders placed within the UK during the Offer period specified in clause 1. JTH may amend the Offer period at any time without prior notice.
  3. Any separate offer agreed upon during an in-person dealership visit may not be combined with the Offer.
  4. All Personal Contract Hire and Business Contract Hire are not eligible for this offer.
  5. Affinity scheme is not eligible for this offer.
  6. Motability scheme is not eligble for this offer. 
  7. If you wish to cancel your new car order, you must notify your sales executive in writing up to four weeks before your scheduled delivery date. If you comply with this condition, JTH will refund your £250 deposit.
  8. Due to manufacturing changes, JTH cannot guarantee an exact delivery date for any vehicle. Additionally, the manufacturer may make slight specification variations without prior notice. JTH is not responsible for any such changes.
  9. If you wish to part-exchange your existing vehicle, JTH will provide an indication of its valuation at the time of order. However, this valuation is subject to change in line with market conditions until an exact delivery date is agreed upon. At that point, JTH and you will agree on an exact valuation for your existing vehicle.
  10. The online car valuation offer provided by JTH is a real offer, but it is subject to physical inspection of the vehicle. JTH reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the value of the offer if any discrepancies are found during the physical inspection. The online valuation is a preliminary estimate, but it is a real offer subject to a successful physical inspection. JTH also reserves the right to reject the purchase of any vehicle that does not fit their stock profile.
  11. The JT Hughes Order incentive offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer made by the JT Hughes Group.
  12. The Offer does not affect any manufacturer offer that may be available to you at the time of placing your order. You may use any such manufacturer offer in conjunction with the JTH order incentive.
  13. Any changes to goverment taxation will be applied.
  14. Manufacturer led colour or specification changes can be applied at any time. 
  15. The JTH order incentive offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer made by the JTH Group.
  16. JTH may alter these Terms at any time. If JTH makes changes to these Terms, the changes will be highlighted when you place an order with one of their dealerships.
  17. These Terms do not affect your consumer rights.
  18. Any new car order placed before November 16th, 2023 will not be eligible for the Offer incentive.


What forms of payment does JT Hughes accept?

You can pay for your JT Hughes vehicle in a variety of ways.

We only accept Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards for online purchases. Please note, for in-store car purchases, we have discontinued the acceptance of card payments

You can choose to part exchange your current vehicle, and the value of your current vehicle will be deducted from the cost of your JT Hughes vehicle.

JT Hughes can also help you apply for financing. Your application will be approved based on your status and our affordability checks.

If you're looking to buy a used JT Hughes car outright without finance, we also accept bank transfers. You can also use your own finance provider if you prefer.

What is the 120-point inspection?


We put each vehicle through a 120-point inspection so that you can be 100% confident in the quality and safety of your vehicle. This inspection includes everything from tread depth of tires to thickness of brake pads to exterior paint quality. 



We go the extra mile so that your car is looking as good as new. There are a lot of specifics that we won't list here (we wash, clean, buff, paint, polish, wax, seal), but trust us that when your car arrives, it's as good as new. 

Can I test drive the car?

You can test-drive all our cars at any of our dealerships or if you opt to buy entirely online you can drive the vehicle for 14 days and return it if you change your mind with a full refund. With Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, you can return your car within 14 days of your car handover date. If you change your mind for any reason, just let us know and we’ll pick it up and give you a full refund.  

We can’t accept a return if the car has been modified, been in an accident or is damaged or altered from the condition it was received in. If you drive the car over the 250-mile limit during the first 14 days, every additional mile will cost £1 per mile alongside deductions for any damage incurred.


What’s the difference between a collection and a delivery?

It simply comes down to however you’d prefer to get your car. For a delivery, we’ll bring it to your door so there’s no need to leave home. If you choose to collect your car, you can do so at your preferred JT Hughes dealership.

Whichever you choose, your Handover Specialist will go through the same level of detail to show you around your JT Hughes car and introduce you to its features.

How do I part exchange a car with personalised plates?

If you’re keeping your personalised number plate, please visit the DVLA to retain your personalised plate. You will need to make sure you have your new V5C which matches the registration plate that will be on the car when we take it off your hands. If you need to get an updated V5C, you’ll need to allow time for it to be sent to you. Otherwise, we may need to postpone your car handover date. Head over to the DVLA to apply for a new V5C.
