Hello, and welcome to JT Hughes Honda Shrewsbury. Today, we're going to be looking at the Honda Jazz. So something you'll notice with the Honda Jazz is you don't get a space-saver wheel, and the cause of this is to save space and weight. But Honda do provide you with a tyre inflation kit, and now that is located just under here.
Okay, so I'm going to show you how to use your inflation kit. And as you can see, you've got your pump here, and also the sealant. To use the pump, attach the power socket to the vehicle's power outlet. Then attach the second connection to the valve on the tyre. Make sure your engine is then switched on. Once all connected, and the engine is running, switch the tyre inflation kit on. When you notice the recommended tyre pressure has been reached, you can then turn the unit off. Your recommended tyre pressure can be found inside the driver's door. At this point, the car engine can now be switched off.
If a tyre has a puncture, you can use a sealant as a temporary measure to then get you to your nearest garage. To use the sealant, repeat the steps taken previously. But before switching the pump on, the sealant bottle needs to be attached. Once all the sealant has been emptied into the tyre, and the tyre has been inflated to the correct pressure, switch the unit and the engine off, and then place the valve cap back onto the tyre.
So if you have any further questions regarding tyre inflation kit, please just give us a call here at JT Hughes Honda Shrewsbury or alternatively just come in, and we'll be very happy to help.
