Job Title: Vehicle Technician (Apprenticeship Full Time) SHREWSBURY

Based at: JT Hughes Shrewsbury, 3 Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AB

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Purpose: You will be responsible for maintaining our customer’s vehicles to the highest standards.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday : 08.30am – 5.15pm (45 minute lunch break)

Saturdays : 08.30am – 12.30pm Saturday on rota basis

Salary: Salary Depending on Experience.  Apprentice Salary £16,640.00

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the After Sales Manager you will be working for a Multi Franchise dealership.  You will ideally process a level 2 qualification.  You will be working in a busy fast paced workshop assisting to maintain our customer’s vehicle to the highest standard carrying out inspections, repairs and service checks following Health & Safety regulations. 

Skills required:

You will ideally possess a NVQ/BTEC or City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Service & Repair Level 2 qualification (or currently studying a level 2 qualification)

You will possess excellent communication skills

You will enjoy working as part of a team and also on you own initiative

You will need to possess high attention to detail

You will be required to attend Manufacturers Training Courses
