Job Title: Service Advisor
Based at: J T Hughes Shrewsbury, 5 Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AB
Reports to: After Sales Manager
Job Purpose: You will be responsible for welcoming our customers into the dealership and booking relevant work for our technicians to complete and processing recall/warranty claims
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am-5.30pm
Saturday 8.30am- 12.30pm on a rota basis
An opportunity has arisen at J T Hughes Shrewsbury for an experienced Service Advisor to join our Hyundai Franchise. Reporting to the After Sales Manager you will be the first point of contact at the dealership.
The role will involve dealing with customers both in person and over the telephone recording our customers’ requirements in a professional and polite manner. Booking/Loading customers vehicles onto the workshop system. Arranging Service Loan Cars. You will have good technical knowledge and have the ability to communicate this knowledge to our customers and our vehicle technicians for them to work from. You will need to ensure excellent customer satisfaction at all times. You will be required to sell additional services we offer. You will also be required to process all warranty repair claims and recall work following a full warranty/recall process.
The successful candidate will have a dealership background, be result driven and have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative. You must possess excellent customer service and telephone skills as well as being polite and maintaining a professional manner at all time. Smart Professional Image required. Full Clean Driving Licence required.
