Neil Lewis joined JT Hughes in March 2001 as a Sales Executive, beginning his career with Mitsubishi before later moving to Honda.

Over the years, Neil has played a key role in the growth and development of the Newtown dealership. In 2008, he was part of the team that relocated the business to its current purpose-built premises, helping to support the dealership's continued expansion and commitment to customer service.

His dedication to customers, colleagues and the business saw him progress into management, taking on increasing responsibility as the dealership continued to grow. A significant milestone followed in 2020 when JT Hughes Newtown was appointed as a main Kia franchise dealer, further strengthening the dealership's presence in Mid Wales and broadening its offering for customers.

In 2021, Neil was promoted to General Manager, recognising nearly two decades of commitment and leadership. Today, he oversees the day-to-day operation of the Newtown dealership, leading the team while maintaining the family values, customer focus and high standards that have been part of JT Hughes for generations.

Julie Whittingham joined JT Hughes in October 2005, beginning her career in Honda Sales. Over the years, she progressed through a variety of roles, including Honda Sales Controller, Hyundai Sales Manager in Oswestry, Local Business and Fleet Business Manager, before moving into her current position as Group Corporate Manager and Head of Retail Administration.

With more than 20 years of experience across sales, fleet, corporate and administration functions, Julie has played an important role in the growth and success of the business. Today, she works across all JT Hughes brands, helping to oversee corporate sales activities while leading our retail administration teams throughout the Group.

Throughout her career, Julie and her teams have received a number of industry awards and recognitions, including Dealer Group of the Year, Supplier Champion of the Year and Dealer Individual Recognition, reflecting her commitment to delivering excellent results and customer service.

Adrian joined JT Hughes Group in November 2001 as a Honda Sales Executive in Telford. His hard work, commitment and natural leadership skills quickly saw him progress through the business, becoming Sales Controller in 2003 before being promoted to Sales Manager in 2004.

Over the following years, Adrian successfully led the Honda and Mitsubishi sales teams in Telford, gaining valuable experience and helping to drive the continued growth of both franchises.

A key milestone came in 2011, when JT Hughes Group officially became a Hyundai franchise dealer. Adrian took on responsibility for the Hyundai and Mitsubishi operations in Telford, helping establish and grow the Hyundai brand within the business. When Hyundai relocated to our head office in Shrewsbury in 2015, Adrian moved with the franchise and continues to lead the team there today.

More than 20 years after joining JT Hughes Group, Adrian's journey from Sales Executive to long-serving Sales Manager is a great example of the career opportunities available within the company. His dedication, loyalty and wealth of experience continue to make him an important part of the Hyundai team's success in Shrewsbury.

Nick Austin joined JT Hughes in July 1995 as a Service Manager, beginning his career with responsibility for the Honda and Mitsubishi aftersales departments, including fleet business.

As the business expanded, Nick played a key role in the development of our Oswestry dealership and also oversaw the Accident Repair Centre, broadening his experience and responsibilities within the business.

Over more than 30 years with JT Hughes, Nick has been a dedicated part of the company's growth and success, helping to develop and strengthen our aftersales operations across the Group.

In 2024, he became Group Aftersales Manager, supporting managers and aftersales teams across JT Hughes to help ensure the smooth running of our service departments and the continued delivery of excellent customer service.
