Hi, and welcome to JT Hughes Hyundai here at Shrewsbury. Today, we're setting in the Hyundai i20. I'm going to show you how to pair your mobile phone. And again, I have an iPhone, but obviously you can pair any sort of phone up to the i20. Again, you can check compatibility of your phone at the Hyundai website.
So first of all, what we'll do is we'll put the Bluetooth on the phone on. So we're going to Settings, into Bluetooth, and then we just turn the Bluetooth on. The phone will then start searching for devices. So on the car, we turn the radio on. We go into Setup. And then using the right-hand knob, we locate phone, and press that in. And then from that menu, we choose the Pair Phone option, press that again. Add in new Bluetooth device, press Okay. So there we go, it will start searching it up. It will tell you the device name which is i20, the phone has picked that up. So we'll just highlight that. And the pass key is four zeros. So the phone now asks you for the passcode. So we'll just put the four zeros in, and press Pair. There we go, coming up on the system, pairing complete.
Okay, so what I'm about to do now is put my contacts in there. So we go cross the phone, and then using this knob, go across the Phonebook. Press that, download, yes please. So there we go. So it's now downloading my phonebook. It will take a couple of minutes depending on how many contacts that you have. There we go, starting to download them now. There you go, all that is downloaded. And then what I can do is move it back to History, recent call history. Do I want to download that? Yes, I do. So that's downloading that. And there we go, that's all complete.
So there we go. That's your phone paired up and everything there. So how you use it is we'll go back to the radio. So as long as the radio is on, when someone rings you, for example, it will come up who's calling. And you press the green button if you want to take the call or the red button if you want to end the call. If you want to call someone, then you press the Voice Recognition button here and just tell the car who you wish to call. It's as easy as that.
