John Hughes joined the Oswestry dealership when it first opened in 1979, helping his father grow the family business. Since then he has been the driving force behind the continued growth and seen the Group go from strength to strength, spreading out to Newtown, Telford and Shrewsbury.

Paul has worked for the JT Hughes business for over 25 years and has extensive knowledge of the car industry, especially Honda. He has led the team at Newtown, Mid Wales – both Honda and Mitsubishi for over 16 years, ensuring customers receive a premium service which keeps them coming back for years to come.
Because of his exceptional management skills, Paul has also taken on the dealer principal role at the Shrewsbury dealership when it moved location, growing the business and continuing to offer a high class service.
He is now committed to developing the dealership and making it the number one car dealership in Shrewsbury.

Ian Jones Dealer Principal

Ian has been an integral part of the JT Hughes family for 25 years and uses his vast amount of knowledge and experience to guide his team in Oswestry.
Originally trained as a technician, Ian joined JT Hughes in 1982 and has helped grow it ever since. He spent over 17 years working as the dealership’s aftersales manager, moving to control the entire group’s aftersales division until 1997.
In 1997 Ian took control of the Oswestry dealership and it has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the largest car dealerships in the town.
